Some Basic Rules For Spanish Gendered Nouns

  • Some nouns come in masculine and feminine forms with the masculine ending in the suffix 'o' and feminine in 'a' for instance 'boy' is chico and 'girl' is chica
  • When it leads into a noun, you also apply the masculine and feminine to connectives for instance 'los chicos' and 'las chicas'
  • Apply this same rules to adjectives aswell, so 'the good boys' would be 'los chicos bienes' and 'the good girls' would be 'las chicas buenas'
