Who is William Shakespeare?

William Shakespeare was an English play writer and poet and is renowned for his plays including Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream and many more. He was also titled the 'Bard of Avon' for his successes. Shakespeare was born during the Tudor period, in 1564 and grew up in a wealthy background in Stratford-upon-Avon. 

Shakespeare mainly wrote plays that targeted three different themes: tragedy (e.g Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet), comedy (e.g Twelfth Night) and history (e.g Henry IV).
