- Make sure you get enough sleep at night, so you are fully charged and at your best for the day ahead. Children in KS1 will generally need about 10-12 hours of sleep per night.
- Kick-start the day with a healthy and filling breakfast. This will keep your children's brains charged until lunchtime, and help with their focus and concentration.
- Drink lots of water - hydration is essential for healthy living! We need about 8 glasses of water a day. - Keep moving. Aim for at least 30-60 minutes of exercise each day. This could be as simple as taking a walk, or playing football with your friends. Exercise is great for our hearts, and will do wonders for our moods too, as it will trigger a release of endorphins.
- Try to limit screen time. Excessive screen time can be linked with negative health conditions and unlike exercise, can be found to dampen our moods.
